Control any Percival® chamber remotely using the IntellusUltra Web Server and a Windows based PC or Windows Mobile 5.0 TreoTM 700 WX smart phone manufactured by Palm®. The IntellusUltra Web Server is accessed using Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater (requires network or Internet connection to chamber). No additional software is required.

Monitor Screen

View current set points and process values, alarm status, alarm settings, program operation mode, program steps and controller time on the Monitor Screen.

Diurnal Program Screen

Easily edit and run day and night settings using the Diurnal Program Screen. All lights automatically turn on during the day period and turn off during the night period.

Edit Program Screen

Create and edit multi-step programs using the Edit Program screen. Up to a total of 560 program steps can be created. Up to a total of 70 programs can be created. Refer to IntellusUltra specification sheet for details on how programs and program steps are divided between programming modes.

E-mail Setup

Add up to five e-mail addresses for alarm and chamber status notifications. Alarm notifications are sent immediately upon alarm activation. Status notifications can be sent hourly, every six hours, every twelve hours or once per day. Alarm notifications and status notifications can be activated or deactivated separately per e-mail address.

Sequence Program Screen

Link programs together to run different profiles over time using the Sequence Program Screen. Up to 50 programs can be linked together.

IntellusUltraTM Touch Screen Computer System and Control Software

Percival Scientific offers the IntellusUltra control Software and IntellusUltra Touch Screen Computer System. The IntellusUltra Control Software is a powerful management sysstem that allows you to precisely and effectively control, monitor and collect data from Percival chambers. It utilizes a user friendly graphical Interface (GUI) that is intuitive and simple to master. The software can be purchased separately and installed on a Windows based PC locally or remote form the chambers.

The IntellusUltra Touch Screen Computer system option is installed directly on the chamber. The IntellusUltra Control Software is pre-installed on the IntellusUltra Touch Screen Computer system

Comprehensive Warranty

All products manufactured by Percival Scientific Inc. are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of 24 months from date of shipment by Percival Scientific. Percival's obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair of defectws at no charge for parts, labor and transportation. This warranty applies to all products shipped from PErcival Scientific Inc. after February 1, 1994. PErcival Scientific Inc.'s own shipping records showing date of shipment shall be conclusive in establishing the warranty period. Replacement of repaired parts will be warranted only for the un-expired portion of the original warranty.

This warranty does not include parts or elements which outlive their normal expected terms of usefulness (e.g. light bulbs, etc.) This warranty is limited to products purchased and installed in the United States. It does not apply to damage caused by accident, misuse, fire or acts of God. It does not apply to damage caused from failure to properly install, operate or maintain the product(s) in accordance with the printed instructions provided by Percival Scientific, Inc. This warranty is in lieu of any other warranties, expressed or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

The owner agrees that Percival Scientific's sole liability with respect to defective parts shall be as set forth in this warranty, and any claims for incidental or consequential damages are expressly excluded. Percival's Intellus Ultra Controller

Controls temperature, lighting, humidity (optional) and CO2 (optional). Single-board electronic solid-state design includes 10 key membrane keypad with LED indicators and vacuum fluroescent display. Programs can be configured to run in real time or elapsed time. Ramping and non-ramping program methods available for each programming mode. multiple programs can be linked creating complex environmental profiles. Optional Intellus Web Server allows monitoring and controlling of chamber via web browser (requires internet Explorer 6.0+) (this option allows for remote monitoring and programming of chamber including alerts and current condition updates for up to five e-mail addresses). PERI-30BLL

Two 20 W fluorescent lamps horizontally mounted in pairs above each shelf.

PERI-30VL

Four 17 W fluorescent lamps vertically mounted on each side of shelves. Intensity programmable up to 100 µmoles/m2/s of light irradiance mesured at 6" from lamps on 2 on/off light events.

Cabinet Construction

Interior constructed of 22-gauge electro-zinc plated steel. Exterior constructed of 18-gauge exterior electro-zinc plated steel. Welded seams and joints on outer and inner shells supported by non-compressing/non-thermal conducting material locking inner liner in place without a metal-to-metal bond to outer case. Chamber is completely self-contained, suitable for stacking one above the other. Overall wall thickness is 2" (5.1 cm).

1/4 h.p. self-contained air-cooled condensing unit with hot gas bypass system for continuous compressor operation, extended life and close temperature control (this continuous running condensing unit ensures precise temperature control by alternately cycling refrigerant and hot gas to coil; this also prolongs life of compressor, and eliminates risk of ice buildup in coil). Solenoid valves have extended stem for quiet and long life operation. Rear chamber wall mounted evaporator coil incorporates an air circulation fan.

 PERWAC2  Water cooled Condensing Unit - This option is an extremely effective method for reducing the on-going electrical requirements of the chamber's refrigeration system. This option requires a constant flow of fresh water and drainage. Please speak with your Territory Manager to confirm this is a viable option for your application.
 PERWAC3  Additional Light Assembly (2 Lamps over 5th shelf) per Shelf "LL" Chambers only - This option will increase the number of shelves in your chamber which already has the "level" style of lighting or lights installed immediately under the shelves.
 PERWTM1  Extended Temperature Range to -10° C (for "NL" No Light Chambers only) - This option will allow your chamber to reach a value of -10° C on occasion. For continuous or regular requirement of the chamber to reach -10° C a dual refrigeration condenser system may be required to eliminate the required defrost cycle. Please speak with your Territory Manager to confirm this is a viable option for your application.
 PERWTM2  Extended Temperature Range to -10° C (for Lighted Chambers only) - This option will allow your chamber to reach a value of -10° C on occasion. For continuous or regular rquirement of the chamber to reach -10° C a dual refrigeration condenser system may be required to eliminate the required defrost cycle.  PERWTM3  Extended Temperature Range to +60° C. This option will allow your chamber to reach a value of +60° C.
