Anti-CFP Tag Antibody (Monoclonal) from ABM, 100 µg Data Sheet Antibody Type: Antibody Description: This gene encodes a plasma glycoprotein that positively regulates the alternative complement pathway of the innate immune system. This protein binds to many microbial surfaces and apoptotic cells and stabilizes the C3- and C5-convertase enzyme complexes in a feedback loop that ultimately leads to formation of the membrane attack complex and lysis of the target cell. Mutations in this gene result in two forms of properdin deficiency, which results in high susceptibility to meningococcal infections. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified.[provided by RefSeq, Feb 2009]. Immunogen: GFP from the jellyfish Aequorea victoria N-Terminal peptide-KLH conjugates (first 20 aa). Specificity: Recognizes native and denatured forms of GFP and its variants EGFP, YFP, EYFP, and CFP. Tested Applications: WB, ELISA, Dot Blot, IPP, Immunostaining. Application Notes: WB 1:1000. For other applications, the researcher should determine the optimal working dilution. Raised In: Mouse Clonality: 1218 Isotype: IgG Purity: Affinity purified Storage Buffer: PBS, pH 7.4 with 0.02% sodium azide Formulation: Liquid Concentration: 100 µg/100 µl Storage: This product is stable for several weeks at 4° C as an undiluted liquid.
